Hike with postcard scenery in the Allgäu region

This hike definitely makes the hearts of nature lovers beat faster: the route from Kaufbeuren to Bad Wörishofen is stage two of the "Allgäu Hiking Trilogy", also known as the Wiesengänger Route. The 24-kilometre walk takes you across meadows and through forests, past the historic Irsee Monastery. The hike ends in the very place where Sebastian Kneipp invented his revolutionary Kneipp therapies: in Bad Wörishofen you can relax your feet in natural Kneipp tread pools after the hike. You can also find out about Kneipp's teachings in detail, for example in the local Kneipp Museum. A perfect end to an excursion right through the Allgäu Alps.

In addition to alpacas, donkeys are also considered the perfect companions for extensive walks in nature: get to know the long ears intensively in Starnberg, for example - the donkeys' empathy is sure to make you slow down quickly.
