Although it's true that sausage and pretzels are as much a part of Bavaria's capital city as the Oktoberfest and the Marienplatz, a 15-minute walk (approx.) south-east from the main station will lead you to more exotic territory. At Mongo's restaurant everyone decides for themselves what should appear on their plate: How about some lily flowers with camel meat? Or perhaps you'd prefer parrotfish with water chestnuts? It's not easy to decide when you're presented with such a varied menu. Once you've also chosen your sauce, your finished creation will be brought to your table within just a few minutes.
