The departure and destination stations must not be within the same transport association. With the day ticket for Franconia-Thuringia region plus Leipzig you can travel as far as Saxony on all local and regional trains operated by DB. With the day ticket for Main-Spessart region, you can discover Franconia for a whole day – for EUR 24 for 1 person; each additional person is EUR 9 more. And with the day ticket for Main-Spessart (+ Frankfurt) region, you can travel as far as Hesse for EUR 33 for 1 person; each additional person is EUR 12 more.

The ticket is valid for any number of journeys in a single day in the second class of local trains within the valid zone. The ticket is valid for any number of journeys in the second class of the RE and RB local trains. The ticket is not valid in the S-Bahn. The regional day ticket is valid for up to 5 people.  Up to three children between 6-14 years of age can be taken along free of charge on the ticket. Children up to and including 5 years of age may generally travel free of charge.
