Maisinger Gorge: Hiking in the footsteps of the ice age

Southwest of the Upper Bavarian town of Starnberg, the last Ice Age carved the Maisinger Gorge into the landscape. The leisurely spring hike Maisinger Schlucht leads along extensive flowering meadows, through mixed forests and meanders along the Maisinger Bach stream. For those who want to explore the beautiful Five Lakes Region in spring, this family-friendly route is a must.
