Colourful alpine meadows and fresh mountain air - is there a better way to welcome spring? You can go on a hike into the world of alpine flowers on the Walmendingerhorn. You even get a botanical-geological guided tour on the flower nature trail. The Walmendingerhorn cable car (summer season starts on 30 April) takes you up the mountain and can be reached by bus from Oberstdorf train station. Tip: The Bayern-Ticket entitles you to a reduced fare. From Oberstdorf railway station, the Walmendingerhornbahn can be reached with the Walserbus line 1 in the direction of Baad.
