Welcome to the Café Zafran in Bamberg

The name, “Café Zafran”, is slightly confusing as neither coffee nor cake is served here. Instead, you can find authentic and tasty dhals, tandoor breads and other classic Indian dishes, at affordable prices. In the summer you can sit cross-legged outside, at traditionally low tables in the garden lounge. Hint: take the “warning” on the menu seriously. All dishes are slightly spicy. On request, there are also mild, spicy, or very spicy versions. The best thing is that Café Zafran is only five minutes away from the station. Walk north on Ludwigstraße, turn right onto Zollnerstraße and follow this street all the way up to the corner of Brennerstraße.
