During the Advent season, a magical Christmas market is set up on the small, romantic market square in the Franconian town of Coburg.

Romance at the Coburg Christmas market

Nowhere else can you experience the pure romance of Christmas as intensely as in the Coburg Rennsteig holiday region. During Advent, the small, romantic market square in the Franconian town of Coburg is transformed into a fairytale Christmas world with bright colours and decorated Christmas trees to get you in the mood for the festive season. For children, there is a nostalgic children's carousel and on Sundays the Christ Child and Father Christmas visit the market and hand out sweet surprises. While the chilled warm themselves by the fireplace, the hungry can stock up on regional specialities.
