I wonder what lies behind ‘Mind-Boggling’, ‘Murder’ or ‘Prison’? These are the names of the live escape game rooms at ‘Exit The Room’ at Schleißheimer Straße 70 in Munich, just a 19-minute walk from Munich Central Station.

Immerse yourself in a world full of puzzles and suspense

If, for example, you’ve chosen the ‘Prison’ room, you’ll find yourself in a gloomy cell – a cross between Alcatraz and Azkaban. Of course, the key to freedom is there somewhere. But neither magic nor chance will get you anywhere here. The plan can only be devised by keeping a cool head and working closely as a team. But the clock is ticking… the prison guard is only on patrol for 60 minutes. And just like that, you’re right in the thick of the live escape game.

Teamwork and problem-solving skills – the keys to freedom

Groups of people are locked in together and must find a way to escape to freedom within 60 minutes, using hidden clues and objects.

The Live Escape Games in Munich require strong nerves, good teamwork and the ability to think on your feet. Each game presents its very own challenges – varying in difficulty and level of suspense. This means every group can find the adventure that suits them best. The games are designed for two to six players aged 14 and over.

Puzzle solved, key found – time for a reward

Once the final puzzle has been solved and the key found, a visit to the cosy and rustic Görreshof just round the corner is just the thing. The regional cuisine is typically Bavarian. A classic dish is the oven-fresh roast pork with a crispy crust. When the weather is fine, you can also enjoy these Bavarian delicacies in the beer garden in the fresh air.

How to get there: The Exit The Room live escape rooms are just a 19-minute walk from Munich Central Station. To get there, leave Munich Central Station heading towards Arnulfstraße and turn right towards the DM shop. Turn left here onto Dachauer Straße and, after 650 metres at Stiglmaierplatz, turn slightly right onto Schleißheimerstraße. Follow this for 550 metres until you reach number 70 on the right-hand side.

The Görreshof is located just around 400 metres from the live escape games, on the corner of Schleißheimerstraße 100 and Görresstraße 38.
