Cross-country skiing and firing practice near the Zugspitze

The 10-kilometre loipe begins right behind Klais station and is dubbed the "sporty" route for good reason. The uphill and downhill parts are a bit of a challenge, but you are rewarded with a glorious view across the Wetterstein and the Zugspitze. At the start there is also a five-kilometre circuit, where professional biathlon athletes train. Visitors are also able to use the biathlon facilities and hone their shooting skills.
