Leutershausen, ein malerisches Städtchen im Herzen Mittelfrankens, liegt idyllisch am Oberlauf der Altmühl. Die Stadt bietet ein typisch fränkisches Stadtbild mit Fachwerkhäusern, einem Röhrenbrunnen und erhaltenen Teilen der alten Stadtmauer. Historisch bedeutsam ist Leutershausen durch seine erste urkundliche Erwähnung im Jahr 1000 und seine Rolle als Verwaltungszentrum der Markgrafen von Brandenburg-Ansbach. Besucher können das Heimat- und Handwerkermuseum besuchen oder dem Gustav-Weißkopf-Denkmal einen Besuch abstatten. Aktivitäten wie Radfahren auf dem Altmühlradweg oder ein Besuch im Altmühlbad bieten Erholung.
