Key facts of the tour
Dry grassland - does that sound like a neglected garden or a dry summer? Far from it! This not so juicy name refers to a valuable form of natural and cultural landscape with very special living conditions. Not far from the medieval town of Karlstadt, you can discover, among other things, the extremely rare Adonis florets in such a dry area. It can only be found in very few places in Germany and is an early bloomer that drives away the winter grey.

Enjoy the varied nature in the Franconian wine country, the panoramic view from the ruins of Karlsburg Castle and insights into the cultural and historical development of the area on this challenging hike.
