Key facts of the tour
On this wonderful, easy tour, you will always cycle along the water - along the Pegnitz, the Regnitz and the Main-Danube Canal. The fountains you discover along the way also spout water. How has the art of fountain construction changed from the 14th to the early 18th to the 21st century? Even the route through green meadows and shady alluvial forest is a real treat for nature lovers. The variety of garden forms that you explore along the way combines nature and culture. There is a city park created for the population in the 1950s, the baroque palace garden of the nobility and, last but not least, the botanical garden with its scientific focus.
A cycle tour for nature lovers and culture vultures
