Key facts of the tour
Admittedly, this cycle tour in the district of Lichtenfels is quite short at around 23 kilometres. But the route is not without its challenges, as the detour to the former Banz monastery is steeply uphill and there is also a steep descent near Nedensdorf. You cycle through the Banz forest and discover pretty Franconian half-timbered villages.

Did you know that our starting point Bad Staffelstein can call itself the Adam Riese town? The famous arithmetician was born in the Upper Franconian town in 1492 before moving to Erfurt in Thuringia. So let's go to the Adam Riese town!
