Key facts of the tour
This cycle tour takes you up high. You cycle through fields and meadows, past small farms, along idyllic forest ponds and streams, up and down hills. You come to the ruins of Thierstein Castle perched high on its rock. You visit the cycle path church in Höchstädt and the ruins of the once miraculous pilgrimage church on the Katharinenberg in Wunsiedel. The crowning highlight of the tour is a visit to the Birds of Prey Park in Wunsiedel.

It is advisable to take a picnic with you. You will come across numerous restaurants, but most of them only open in the evening.
open in the evening.

E-bikes are recommended due to the length of the route and the metres in altitude. You can hire e-bikes from the tourist information centre in Marktredwitz.
