Neustadt an der Aisch has a lot to offer. The Pfalzbach circular trail (N3) through the Pfalzbach gorge leads through a landscape of unspoilt beauty. Soft forest and field paths instead of tiring paved paths lead you along the course of the stream, up the slopes of the Pfalzbach gorge, through idyllic deciduous forest and through orchards back to the town.
Nature is largely left to its own devices here, a paradise for rare insects, birds and plants. Information boards provide information about the special features of nature and geology. Every season is beautiful here. In spring, the delicate green and the first blooms, summer with its ripe fruit, autumn, which turns the old ash trees over 40 metres high yellow, winter with its clear, white splendour.
The 7.5-kilometre route will take you up a few metres in altitude, but you will be rewarded with many beautiful views. And speaking of enjoyment: There are also opportunities to stop for refreshments.

From the station, follow the Bahnhof road eastwards towards the town centre for about 300 metres. You will soon find yourself in the Aischaue and cross the river on an idyllic bridge.
Follow the Geissteg for 200 metres and you have now reached the district of Riedfeld. Riedfeld was an important church and royal seat in the 8th and 9th centuries.
Cross the Riedfeld local road. Between Riedfelder Ortsstraße 46 and 50 you will find the centuries-old "Roter Marter" statue.
