The Partnachklamm - a fascinating gorge in the heart of nature

This excursion into nature by train will show you the beauty and power of nature. Your destination: the Partnachklamm gorge. This breathtaking gorge in the Reintal valley near Garmisch-Partenkirchen was formed over centuries by the force of the Partnach torrent. When you enter the gorge, you are enclosed by majestic rock walls and feel the fine mist of water on your skin. You can follow the path along the right side of the stream and marvel at the various waterfalls and rock formations. The gorge is about 700 metres long and over 80 metres deep in places.
